Aluminum Boat Challenge

Children are invited to participate in the Aluminum Boat Challenge! They will design and build their own aluminum boats. Then they will test their desgins out in water and see if they can hold the weight of multiple paper clips!

Museum Ramble

Discovery Station will be participating in the Washington County Museum Ramble. Admission fees are waived on this day!

Paper Triangle Oreo Challenge

Children are invited to participate in the Paper Triangle Oreo Challenge! This hands-on activity introduces children to basic engineering skills!

Industrial Commons

Discovery Station is pleased to host Industrial Commons - a local non-profit makerspace! They will be leading an educational STEM program. More information coming soon!

This hands-on program making "Sound Sandwiches" educates children on the basic components of sound production.

Egg Drop Challenge

Children are invited to take part in our Egg Drop Challenge! They will be asked to build a contraption that would protect an uncooked egg from an 8 ft. drop.

Junior Monarch Alliance

Join the Junior #Monarch Alliance today! The Discovery Station has partnered with The Monarch Alliance to host monthly programs that encourage citizen science and monarch conservation among our youth.

This hands-on STEAM program educates children on the dangers of ocean pollution and what they can do to help stop pollution in our waterways.
