Along with our Saturday Plus Programs, Discovery Station also hosts an ongoing Story-Time that occurs each Wednesday at 11 am! This Free program also includes a light snack! Join us each week for another adventure of Earl the Squirrel !

All About Your Favorite Dinosaurs

Do you have a dinosaur lover in your life? Discovery Station will be hosting another ‪#‎FREE‬ "All About Your Favorite Dinosaurs" program by Dave Hluchy. Children are invited to bring their own dinosaurs to the program too!

Student Ambassador Presentation

Logan Hine, Seventh Grade Student at Springfield Middle School, will present a program detailing his trip to Alaska as a Student Ambassador with People to People. As part of his trip, Logan learned about local customs, studied environmental science and stayed with a family in a fishing village in Seward, Alaska. He raised $2,000 for his experience!

Discovery Technology: The Technical Feasibility of the Mars One Mission

Perhaps mankind's greatest endeavor to date, Mars One's mission is to establish a permanent human settlement on Mars by 2027. This informative program examines the various components behind the technology of the Mars One Settlement.

DEA Educator Susan Fox will be leading an informative program titled "Opening Eyes to the Dangers of Heroin" to help combat the growing epidemic of heroin usage within the TriState region. There will be a question and answer session immediately after.

Ghouls and Goblins of all ages are invited to join the mad scientists at Discovery Station as they make the chemical concoction known as Monster Slime!

Halloween Mystery Party

Dinosaurs, Aliens and....Flying Ghost Pigs? OH MY!

Some strange things are happening at Discovery Station. It's up to you to figure out just what is going on!

Children are invited to come dressed up in their Halloween Costumes and “Trick-or-Treat” through the exhibits for clues to discover during this Halloween Mystery Party!

There will be games and prizes too!
Halloween cookies and witches brew will be served in the Café!
