Makerspace with Industrial Commons

Industrial Commons Makerspace will be doing 3D printing demonstrations, and showing how you can make your own models at home! They will also be doing demonstrating temperature extremes with liquid nitrogen, and will be making ice cream with it.

Troll Party at Discovery Station

Children are invited to come dressed up as Trolls during this party! There will be a costume contest with a special prize. We will be showing Dreamworks "Trolls" in our Explorer Cafe and it will include light snacks! There are only 32 tickets available and every person attending must have a ticket (adults included).

Military Child Appreciation Day

The Maryland National Guard Child & Youth Program serves children and youth ages 6-18 and provides opportunities for youth to develop their physical, social, emotional and cognitive abilities and to experience achievement, leadership, employment and friendship.
We will have give away bags for our participants and information handouts for the service members.
Admission Fees to Discovery Station will be waived for this day.

Junior Monarch Alliance

Join the Junior #Monarch Alliance today! The Discovery Station has partnered with The Monarch Alliance to host monthly programs that encourage citizen science and monarch conservation among our youth.
