Surgeons Vs. Chefs Pumpkin Carving Competition

Who would make a better pumpkin carver? A surgeon or a chef? This year, our carvers will venture out of this world to create the best space-themed pumpkins in just 2 hours! You decide just who has the better skills with a knife by voting for their 2023 PumpKing or PumpQueen!
Enjoy space science activities, crafts, and light refreshments throughout the night as you watch the carvers compete! It’s a night of Halloween fun for the whole family!

Meet Carver Brianna Ritz!
Brianna Ritz graduates from medical school in the spring and will start her residency training program in the fall. Her interests include pain management, diet and exercise as medicine, and procedures.

Meet Carver Gwenn Leatherman DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Gwenn is an ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner of Leatherman Healthcare, LLC and H&G Elite Wellness, LLC. She graduated as a Registered Nurse (RN) from Frederick Community College in 2009 and with her Master of Science degree specializing in Family Practice at Shenandoah University, in 2016. Finally, in 2020, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Shenandoah University and has served as an adjunct professor at the university. Gwenn opened her adult primary care practice in July of 2022, at South Pointe shopping center and her Wellness practice in May of 2023 at the same location. She is passionate about community health.

Meet Carver Dr. Christopher Clark!

Dr. Christopher Clark, with Premier Spine and Sports Medicine, offers innovative care and pain management to patients of all ages in the Hagerstown, Maryland, region. His areas of expertise include interventional pain management, musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, and regenerative injection therapies. Dr. Clark is also registered to practice medical acupuncture.
Dr. Clark graduated from Taylor University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He then stayed in Greenville to complete an internship in internal medicine at Vidant Medical Center.
After finishing a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Clark completed a yearlong fellowship in interventional pain management and musculoskeletal medicine.
Dr. Clark is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the International Spine Intervention Society, and the American Society of Pain Physicians.
When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, daughter, and two sons. He’s an avid golfer and enjoys playing basketball and rooting for his hometown NFL team, the Carolina Panthers.
