Our Weekly Programming Includes Thursday Story-Times and STEAM Saturday Classes. These programs are always included in regular admission and don't require registration, so drop on in! Keep reading for a full listing of this month's events.
Story-Time
Story-Times are every Thursday at 11 a.m. in our Imagination Station, followed by a short craft or activity. These programs are most popular for families with Toddlers, Pre-K and Kindergarten Children.

Thursday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. |Dr. Seuss's Birthday with F&M Trust:
Celebrate Dr. Seuss Day at Discovery Station! We’ll read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and then make a colorful fish craft using recycled egg cartons!
Thursday, March 9th at 11:00 a.m.| Dinosaurs
Join us for a reading of a Prehistoric story, followed by a dinosaur paper plate craft!
Thursday, March 16th at 11 a.m. | St. Patrick's Day with F&M Trust
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a reading of Raindrops to Rainbows by John Joseph Micklos Jr. After, we’ll make shamrock wands with colorful rainbow tails.
Thursday, March 23rd at 11 a.m. | Oil Pastel Prints
Join us after story-time for a chance to explore new materials! Kids will use oil pastels to create colorful transfer prints.
STEAM Saturday's
Join us for Hands-On Science demonstrations and activities every Saturday at 11 a.m. in our classroom adjacent to the STEAM Machine! These programs are most popular with ages 6+, but all ages are welcome!

Saturday, March 4th at 11 a.m. | Dinosaur Soap Workshop
Learn the science behind soap in this 2-part workshop! First, kids will do a colorful Magic Milk experiment that demonstrates how soap works. Then they’ll have opportunity to make their own T-rex, Styracosaurus or Stegosaurus shaped soap to take home!
Supplies are limited, so please check-in with our front desk staff upon arrival to guarantee your spot! Day of registration only.
Saturday, March 11th at 11 a.m. | Leprechaun Traps
This fun engineering challenge sponsored by JLG Industries combines St. Patrick’s day crafts with Leprechaun science! Kids will craft a box designed to lure in one of the tiny tricksters. Don’t forget to set the trap at home the night before St. Partick’s Day! Every parent/guardian will go home with “Top Secret Leprechaun Trap Instructions” containing a shamrock craft for kids to discover in their trap St. Patrick’s Day morning.
Saturday, March 18th at 11 a.m. | Marble Madness
Have you ever seen a marble do a loop-de-loop? Kids will explore different methods of building marble coasters to see who can make the fastest, wackiest, most daring run for their marbles!
Saturday, March 25th at 11 a.m. | Owl Pellet Dissection
Spring is coming, and we hear the birds tweeting once again! That means it’s the perfect time to dig into owl pellets. Kids will learn about biology and the food pyramid in this program, that lets them uncover real animal skeletons.
